Summer Author Note
When life happens so fast, you can hardly record it....
Happy summer! This author has been busy since last I wrote, with many family visitors, some caregiving, and an outstanding touring/bike trip/family visit to Scotland and northern England. Look for a blogpost about that soon, but in the meantime, a few photos below.
Isabela’s Way picked up two more book awards for historical fiction and cover design, and I will be traveling to Miami, Boca Raton, in Florida, and Albuquerque NM over the next year, thanks to the Jewish Book Council… so stay tuned for more information on that.
In the very near future, if you are in northern Michigan this Tuesday evening, come to Northport at the Willowbrook Mill for a fun evening (7 PM) during which fellow author Karen Mulvahill will interview me about Isabela, as part of the Friends of the Leelanau Township Library summer author series.
For those of you waiting for the audiobook for Isabela on Audible, the wait is over!
As always, thanks for your interest, and you can always check in at my website, or on social media…

All sounds amazing. Pics of your trip on FB were so beautiful.
Love getting your updates. They're a burst of joy to read. And they have the same upbeat voice that I experienced when talking to you in person. Congrats on your book's success! (Excited to learn it's also an audiobook.) May the road rise to meet you on your travels—in life and abroad.
